Três Corações (MG) – On September 7, 2022, the NCO Academy carried out a military-civic parade in the city of Três Corações, in commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Brazil.

Major General Reinaldo Salgado Beato, NCO Academy commander, accompanied by the Mayor of Três Corações reviewed the Academy troops.

Colonel Roberto Wanderley Guarino Junior, NCO Academy deputy commander and Commander of the Military Parade, along with the Academy General Staff, opened the parade on President Getúlio Vargas Avenue.

The foot parade was composed by the Academy band, the parade commander and the general staff; the flag guard; the group of Brazilian historical flags; the Military Academy Cadets; the students of NCO Academy wearing the uniform of the first training course; the servicewomen's group; the administrative corps; the command of the Corps of students; Infantry Course, Artillery Course, Engineers Course and Signal Corps Course; personnel from the Academy Logistic Battalion (Battalion Staff, Administrative Corps, External Defense Group and Operations and Disturbance Control Platoon; and the mounted Platoon.

The motorized parade had a total of 32 vehicles belongin to the diverse branches and services acting in the school, representing the different segments that make up the School: Mechanized Riflemen Group of the Infantry Course, Mechanized Cavalry Platoon of the Cavalry Course, Battery of the Artillery Course, Platoon of the Engineers Course, Signal Corps Platoon, Group of Logistic Vehicles.

A vehicle with a School Veteran and five vehicles carrying children formed the link between the past and the future of the Army, representing the cult of the highest values ​​and traditions of the Land Force throughout these 200 years of Independence.

The parade was attended by Army General Jarbas Bueno da Costa, former student and everlasting NCO Academy Commander; Lieutenant Colonel Francisco José Lyra, Commander of the 16th Independent Military Police Company of Três Corações; Lieutenant Colonel Military Firefighter Júlio César Tóffoli, Commander of the 9th Military Fire Battalion; 2nd Lieutenant Leandro Pifano Medeiros, acting commander of the 2nd Military Fire Brigade of Três Corações; Dr. Alexandra Gonçalves de Oliveira, regional police chief of the Civil Police of Três Corações, in addition to other civil and military authorities.

The Academy commemorates the Bicentennial of the Independence of Brazil by honoring our historical figures, recognizing the value of our men and women, extolling the role of the Strong Arm of the Army in National History, integrating itself with civil society as the friendly hand of the State.
