Três Corações/MG – On the morning of June 12, 2020, the NCO Academy (ESA) held the event allusive to the Military's Easter.
The Military Easter celebration was designed to strengthen and cultivate the faith of the Military Family. The date was marked with three simultaneous events, a Catholic mass, conducted by the Chaplain Captain Adriano Correa da Silva; an evangelical service, presided over by Pastor of Presbyterian Church, Luis Carlos de Andrade; and a spiritist meeting led by Colonel Paulo Rogério Limeira dos Santos.
The Military Easter was held for the first time in 1945, after the Second World War, when the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (FEB) returned to Brazil and the Easter period had finished, so they decided to hold a Easter celebration at Praça XV, in Rio de Janeiro. They celebrate with their family, even in a different period of Easter.
In order to safely coordinate the activity in the face of the pandemic experienced by the country, the NCO Academy ( ESA) adopted sanitary prevention and control measures, such as the accomplishment of the reconciliation in an open place with physical distancing and use of masks.
Major General Flavio Alvarenga Filho and Colonel Emerson Colpo Gaier da Rosa, Commander and Deputy commander of ESA, were present at the celebrations.
