Três Corações / MG - On November 22, 2019, the NCO Academy (ESA) held a formation dedicated to the day of the Corps of Auxiliary Officers (QAO), which is celebrated on November 24, recalling the Patron's heroic deeds Lieutenant Antonio João Ribeiro and the Musician's Day, whose patron saint is St. Cecilia.
The Corps of Auxiliary Officers (QAO) was created by Presidential Decree No. 84.333 December 20, 1979. This measure allowed the noncommissioned officers to achieve the rank of commissioned officer. This distinction is given by deserving, valuing the qualities shown by warrant officers and sergeants throughout the career. On the occasion, General Alvarenga greeted Cap QAO Antônio Passos Lemos Machado, the most senior officer of the Corps of Auxiliary Officers serving at ESA.
Musician's Day, celebrated on November 22, is also St. Cecilia's Day, the Mother Saint of Musicians. Warrant officer Reginaldo dos Santos Gonzaga, ESA Band Regent, received the compliments of General Alvarenga symbolizing the homage of members of Sergeant Max Wolf Filho School to all the musicians of the NCO Academy.
