Três Corações / MG – From November 18 to 22, 2019 , a delegation of the NCO Academy (ESA) visited the Escuela de Formación de Soldados del Ejército (ESFORSE), Vencedores del Cenipa, in the Republic of Ecuador.
On the first day, the delegation formed by Major Pedro Santoro Costa da Silva, Chief Instructor of the Infantry Course, student Rodrigo Oliveira Soares da Silva, of the Signal Corps Course and Student Leandro Cordeiro de Sousa, of the Engineering Course, visited the 11th Brigade of Armored Cavalry (11BCB), Galapagos Brigade, in the city of Riobamba.
On the second day, the servicemen was led to the 17th Jungle Infantry Brigade (17BS), Pastaza Brigade, where they visited the Escuela de IWIAS (IWIAS NCO Academy) that focuses on the training of Ecuadorian indigenous military personnel.
On the third day, the servicemen was led to the 9th Special Forces Brigade (9BFE), the Patria Brigade, located in the city of Latacunda.
Concluding the activities, the ESA delegation met the Palacio Presidencial (Presidential Palace) and the Museo de Cera (the Wax Museum); Cidade Mitad del Mundo (Mitad del Mundo city), where the Equator Line passes; Monumento Cima de Libertad e La Virgen de El Panecillo, a 45m sculpture a homage to the Virgen of Quito , in the Capital.
