Brasília/DF – Ponta Porã/Dourados/MS - From September 30 to October 4, 2019, the NCO Academy's Signal Corps Course visited Military Organizations in the cities of Brasilia, in the Federal District (DF), of Ponta Porã and of Dourados, both in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). With the purpose of learning about the Tactical Communications System of a Brigade, and units inserted at the SISFRON Program (Border Monitoring Integrated System Program). In addition to that, the students also complement their training in the fields of Command and Control, Information Technology, Cyber Defense and Electronic Warfare.
At that time, the students learned about the organizational structure, the peculiarities, the activities carried out and the modern material employed by the following Military Organizations: Communications Command and Army Electronic Warfare (CComGEx), School of Communications (EsCom), Command and Control Company (Cia C2), 7th Area Telematics Center (7th CTA), Integrated Army Telematics Center (CITEx), 1st Electronic War Battalion (1st BGE), Electronic War Instruction Center (CIGE), Cyber Defense Command (CDCiber) and 6th Communications Company (6th Cia Com), in Brasilia, in the Federal District (DF); 4th Mechanized Cavalry Brigade and 14th Mechanized Communications Company (14th Cia With Mec), in Dourados; and 11th Mechanized Cavalry Regiment (11th RCMec), in Ponta Porã, Mato Grosso do Sul (MS).
